A Message from Chartwells Food Services:
The U.S. Senate passed a stopgap government funding bill that includes almost $8 billion in nutrition assistance.
The funds allow the USDA to extend all Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) and Seamless Summer Option (SSO) meal waivers, which are due to expire at the end of December, through the end of the 2020-21 school year.
This means we will keep the same system in place throughout the remainder of the school year, as far as providing school meals free of charge. The only changes we will have to face are any COVID category changes that may come up (see attached flier).
Also, in order to help understand how we can serve our students better, we have created a survey for parents to take. We need your help in creating this feedback that will provide the data needed to help us make good decisions for your student(s).

Students with Allergies:
A medical Statement to Request Special Meals and/or Accommodations must be filed each year with Food Services. The form should be completed and signed by the student's doctor. In order to meet USDA compliance, Food Services and the school kitchen cannot provide special meals or accommodations without the proper documentation.
