Returning Student Registration

All returning students to the Mountain Home School District will be asked to complete the registration process in the Powerschool Parent Portal in May of each year for the upcoming school year. This allows those students to automatically rollover into the upcoming school year.
The PowerSchool App cannot be used to register for school.
If you complete the May Registration you do not need to register again in August; however, your child's school may require additional registration information from you, so please double check your school's webpage for more information.
Access to the Parent Portal will be turned off during the summer break and will be available again in August.

Elementary students transferring to a different elementary school within the school district
Parents may complete the registration process in the Portal as normal, but must first contact the gaining school to notify the office of the transfer. Parents are also responsible for following up with the gaining school to make sure records have been transferred prior to the start of school. An Open Enrollment/Out-of-Zone form is required.

- Should enrollment at one of the elementary schools exceed appropriate numbers of students per grade, Out-of-Zone students will be transferred back to their home zone elementary school according to the date the student applied for the Out-of-Zone authorization. All Out-of-Zone Applications are only valid for one school year and must be resubmitted annually.
School Building Webpages, depending on the school, may have additional information regarding registration, office times, building information, locker assignment, athletic packets, student handbooks, etc.
